- Travels around with firends, Chris, Mimi, and Jeff (on occasion) one of his rivals.
- Mimi and Chris are the yin to his yang, when Brandon's feeling down and out they're always there to get him back into the game.
-Brandon Hates golbats. I can't stress this enough.

-Brandon also thinks that Omanyte's are possibly the cutest pokémon ever.

Pokemon:

• Charmaine - Charizard ♀
Nature: Mild
Hold Item:
Ability: Blaze
Moves: Focus Blast, Blast Burn, Fire Spin, Strength
Background: Brandon's first and go to pokémon for almost any occasion. Given to him by the world renowned professor oak as his starter pokémon, Brandon and Charmaine have been good buddies. While Charmaine is much more calm and collected than a more adamant Brandon- she easily gets pumped up and into Brandon's fiery spirit in the ring.

• Sergio - Staraptor ♂
Nature: Adamant
Hold Item: Sharp Beak
Ability: Intimidate
Moves: Close Combat, Arial Ace, Endevor Brave Bird
Background: Having being the first shiny pokémon Brandon's ever managed to capture the two became quick friends almost immediately. Staraptor is absolutely fearless and doesn't mind fighting to the very end, in fact, he wouldn't have it any other way. Which works for Brandon, because he's just that kind of reckless fighter.

• Terra - Torterra ♂
Nature: Rash
Hold Item:
Ability: Overgrow
Moves: Leaf Storm, Earthquake, Grass Knot, Synthesis
Background: After taking a quick snooze unknowingly on the back of a Torterra Brandon was thrown off and attacked, Charmaine quickly jumped in and blocked this attack and fended Terra off. Terra noticed that the bond between charmaine and Brandon was different than that of the usual humans who in attempted feats of bravado attack the Torterra herd in order to capture one. Despite this Terra still wanted nothing to do with Brandon, but Brandon wasn't ready to take no for an answer and offered Terra the wager of if Brandon alone could defeat him then he's coming with him. Brandon then got his ass handed to him but ended up deflecting a seed bomb and sending it right back at Torterra, winning Brandon the match.

• Lester - Snorlax ♂
Nature: Relaxed
Hold Item: Iron Ball
Ability: Thick Fat
Moves: Rest, Sleep Talk, Rollout, Fling
Background: During his rocket days Brandon was unhappily helping a fellow grunt in their mission to steal some moo moo milk from a farm, when they were stopped by a Lester as a young munchlax. Lester, who had been stealing food from the farm was established as a menace by the farmer family, stepped and defended them from this rocket attack. Brandon having seeing this pokémon's courage and determination to do what's right convinced Brandon to jump on his side and fend off the farm from the other rocket grunt. After succeeding in saving the farm Brandon noticed that Lester wasn't trying to protect the farm but instead was just protecting their food and delicious moo moo milk. The farmers gladly let Brandon take the little menace off of their hands. Lester, as most snorlaxes are, is all about food and when he doesn't get his fill sometimes stairs at Brandon with this mouth watering because he kind of resembles a delicious durin berry.... mmmmm.

• Lindy - Politoed ♀
Nature: Quirky
Hold Item: Smoke Ball
Ability: Water Absorb
Moves: Bounce, Water Pulse, Hydro Pump, Mind Reader
Background: An acutely ocd politoed who hates getting dirty and greatly prefers being in the water to anywhere else. Often uses his smoke ball in battle to evade opponents by hiding in smoke clouds.

• Rex - Rhyperior ♂
Nature: Serious
Hold Item: Muscle Band
Ability: Solid Rock
Moves: Rock Wrecker, Megahorn, Magnitude, Surf
Background: Having caught a Rhydon in the Safari Zone Brandon figured that evolving him would make surfing around quicker because of his arm cannons. Brandon was right. Rhyperior is the only really serious member of the team, often rolling his eyes at Brandon's theories and plans. He likes Brandon just fine, but JEEZ the guy is ridiculous sometimes.
